I had an amazing experience at Bookandbed in Asakusa. the location was fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the Ginza Line station and close to the famous Senso-ji temple. the hostel had a unique and cozy atmosphere, perfect for those who prefer a relaxed vibe over nightlife. the staff were incredibly friendly and kind, making me feel right at home. the concept of combining a hostel with a bookshop was brilliant, and I loved being able to browse through their wide selection of books. the amenities were great too, with complimentary towel rental and a mini ventilation fan in the sleeping cot.
I will definitely be returning to Bookandbed in Asakusa. Cons: No complaints 🙌.

The design of the hostel was really cool and unique. It had a literary theme which added a nice touch to the overall experience. Additionally, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They were always available to provide assistance and answer any questions I had. The hostel also had a convenient location, close to train stations and other key attractions in the area.
There were a few negatives that impacted my stay. the sleeping arrangements were quite uncomfortable.

The location of the hotel is great, as it is really close to Asakusa Metro station and within walking distance of the Sensoji area. This makes it convenient for exploring the touristic attractions and easily accessing other parts of the city.
One downside of the hotel is that the wifi connection can be spotty at times.

The cozy atmosphere and unique concept of sleeping among books was a dream come true for me and my partner. We loved being surrounded by shelves filled with books related to the local culture and history. The staff was incredibly friendly and always available to help. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, with easy access to public transportation and popular sights. Plus, the breakfast was not only visually appealing but also delicious, providing the perfect start to our days of exploration.
While the concept was charming, the pod size was a bit cramped for us, making it a bit uncomfortable to move around. The lack of daily bed making was a small inconvenience, but it didn't hinder our overall experience.

I got great value for my money at this hotel. The room was cozy and unique, with bookshelves as sleeping areas. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the metro station. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The best part of my weekend getaway was the cozy and whimsical atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I had entered a book lover's paradise. The shelves were filled with a diverse selection of books, making it a dream come true for any avid reader. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend a great read. The location was also a major plus, with plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. And let's not forget the delicious coffee they served, it was the perfect way to start my mornings.
The lack of comfort in the beds. They were a bit too firm for my liking and the lack of ventilation made it a bit stuffy at times.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a day before our flights home. Excellently located in Asakusa near sights and well connected to the city. One big room with capsules running along either side, each with its own safe. Clean, stylish, and modern. Huge bathroom area with plenty of showers and sink space. Interesting selection of books. Relaxing couch area with a great view onto the street. Would recommend this hotel.

The relaxed vibe and coffee shop music create a cozy atmosphere. The dorm, connected to the cafe desk, ensures staff availability. No need for earplugs. The unique bookshelf concept is cool. Easy to locate. Helpful staff. Adequate bathrooms, showers, and a hairdresser. Plenty of books to read, including English translations. Great common areas, modern vibe. Clean amenities, no towel fee. Ideal for solo travelers or couples. Great location near Sensoji temple, Skytree, and metro stations. Always lively when turned into a cafe in the afternoon. Perfect for bedtime reading with a blanket. Can't wait to explore other Book and Beds!
